We are the Behavioral Health Community organization responsible for the delivery of mental health, substance abuse treatment coordination, and developmental disabilities services for Kent County. We need individuals who are passionate about making a difference by helping others.
The Psychiatrist provides psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for assigned patients. This position will also deliver services to selected Network180 service providers.
This position is 32 hours a week, Monday through Friday, during normal business hours. On-call emergency psychiatric coverage for evenings, weekends, and holidays per arranged schedule.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Licensed in the State of Michigan as a Physician and valid DEA license.
- Medical Degree with an active, unencumbered license.
- Ability to be paneled by all insurance carriers.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Excellent interpersonal and human relations skills.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for job related use.
- Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and skills and capabilities of bridging language/cultural barriers to Network 180 services within diverse communities.
- Ability to adhere to Network180 policies resulting from HIPAA privacy rules regarding individually identifiable health information concerning individuals served or employed by Network180 and credentialing.
