Job Overview

Grand Itasca is looking for a RN Clinic Quality & Program Coordinator to join our team!   The Coordinator oversees the clinic’s ambulatory care composite quality program and measures, participates in both system-level and local quality committees, and collaborates with regulatory compliance partners to ensure alignment with state and organizational expectations. The position also educates and partners with clinic nursing and provider teams, leveraging their workflows to optimize quality performance and embed best practices into daily operations.

 

Position Details:

  • 0.6 FTE (48 hours/pay period)
  • Weekdays

Job Duties:

  • Monitor and oversee the clinic’s ambulatory care composite quality measures.
  • Partner with Fairview’s Ambulatory Quality team to gain expertise and apply quality improvement best practices.
  • Maintain knowledge of Minnesota Community Measurement (MNCM) measures and ensure clinical alignment with state standards.
  • Collaborate with regulatory teams to ensure clinical practices meet organizational and external requirements.
  • Manage the clinic’s Minnesota Free Vaccine Program, including tracking, reporting, and compliance.
  • Partner with county public health and community partners on local programming and public health initiatives.
  • Provide clinic leadership with guidance, training, and interpretation of current quality standards and expectations.
  • Conducts patient chart reviews to identify opportunities for improving documentation, workflows, and compliance with quality measures.
  • Collect and analyze data from reports to pinpoint opportunities for improving quality measure compliance in patient records.

Required Qualifications:

  • Current RN Nursing License in the State of Minnesota.
  • Minimum of 1-year training and/or quality improvement experience, precepting or project/process implementation required.
  • Minimum of 3 years nursing experience required.
  • Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within two months of employment.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ambulatory experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

The posted pay range is for a 40-hour workweek (1.0 FTE). The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical.
