Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher to join a Michigan school district for the 2026–2027 academic year. This full-time, school-based position is a strong fit for an educator who values differentiated instruction, collaborative teaching, and creating effective learning experiences for students with varying academic and behavioral needs.

The selected teacher will support students receiving special education services across resource and inclusive settings, providing instruction and interventions tailored to individual learning goals. The role involves partnering with classroom teachers, specialists, administrators, and families to coordinate services, monitor student development, and promote academic progress and positive classroom engagement.

What You’ll Do:
  • Support positive behavior strategies and inclusive classroom practices.
  • Use student data to evaluate progress and refine instructional approaches.
  • Modify curriculum, assignments, and assessments to improve access to instruction.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain IEPs in accordance with Michigan and federal requirements.
  • Provide individualized and small-group instruction based on student needs and IEP objectives.
  • Maintain regular communication with families regarding student performance and development.
  • Participate in collaborative planning with general education teachers and related service professionals.

Requirements

Candidates should have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Special Education or a related field, along with strong instructional planning, organization, communication, and classroom management abilities. Experience in resource, inclusion, or self-contained special education environments is preferred. Applicants must hold a valid Michigan teaching certificate with the appropriate Special Education endorsement or meet eligibility requirements for certification.
