JOB SUMMARY

HexArmor is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead the strategic vision, execution, and continuous improvement across all operations and customer service. Reporting to the COO and partnering closely with the executive leadership team, this leader will build scalable, sustainable operations, capable of supporting 3X business growth over the next five years.

 LOCATION

Onsite at our Headquarters: 640 Leffingwell Ave. NE Grand Rapids, MI

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide strategic vision and leadership for all outbound and customer-facing operations
  • Lead facility planning, expansion, and operational scalability initiatives
  • Establish best-in-class KPIs and performance measurement systems
  • Drive operational efficiency through process optimization and systems evolution
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Product Development, Supply Chain, and HR
  • Expand global fulfillment capabilities including 3PL and foreign entity operations
  • Develop and retain top operations talent to support long-term growth

Warehouse & Production Operations

  • Receiving
  • Inventory Control
  • Replenishment & Picking
  • Shipping
  • Facilities & Maintenance

Center of Excellence & Customer Care

  • Continuous Improvement
  • Operations & Supply Chain Systems liaison to IT
  • Project Management
  • Customer Service & Order Management
  • Distribution Channel liaison

Ecommerce Operations

  • Amazon FBA
  • Safety Gloves ecommerce operations
  • Integration of HexArmor operations into FBA

International Fulfillment Operations

  • General management of Mexico-based operations
  • Operations & project management support in Grand Rapids

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, fulfillment, or supply chain
  • Executive-level experience in customer service and outbound logistics
  • Strong background in continuous improvement, systems implementation, and KPI-driven
  • Demonstrated success leading multi-site and international operations
  • Ability to lead through influence and collaborate across executive teams

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business Administration, Commerce, Management, Industrial Technology, or Industrial Engineering. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
