Schedule:Â 40 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. This dynamic role combines hands-on warehouse operations with the opportunity to mentor and support program beneficiaries in their work therapy development. You'll help maintain an organized warehouse while making a meaningful impact in people's lives.Â

What You’ll DoÂ
Warehouse OperationsÂ
- Load, unload, and move products to correct departmentsÂ
- Price merchandise according to guidelinesÂ
- Track production numbers and complete reportsÂ
- Maintain organized work areas and clean environmentÂ
- Operate warehouse equipment as trainedÂ
- Follow safety protocols and proceduresÂ
Â
Donation ProcessingÂ
- Assist donors with donation drop-offsÂ
- Complete donation receipts accuratelyÂ
- Collect and track donor informationÂ
- Process various types of donations including:Â Â
- Clothing and accessoriesÂ
- Household itemsÂ
- ElectronicsÂ
- Furniture and antiquesÂ
- Jewelry and collectiblesÂ

Equipment Operation May be trained to operate:Â
- BalerÂ
- CompactorÂ
- ForkliftÂ
- ElevatorÂ
- Other warehouse equipmentÂ

Training ProvidedÂ
- Paid training on processing standards and warehouse proceduresÂ
