Infant Assistant Teacher
Pay: $16–$18 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

The Learning Experience is seeking a caring and dependable Infant Assistant Teacher to support our infant classroom. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with babies and contributing to a warm, nurturing, and structured early learning environment.

Our infant program focuses on responsive care, consistent routines, and developmentally appropriate experiences that support infants’ social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Lead Infant Teacher in maintaining a safe, calm, and nurturing classroom

  • Assist with daily infant care routines including feeding, diapering, naps, tummy time, and transitions

  • Engage infants in sensory play, music, and early language experiences

  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment

  • Observe infants and share updates with the teaching team

  • Communicate positively with families regarding daily routines and activities

  • Follow all health, safety, and state childcare licensing requirements

  • Collaborate with teachers and leadership to ensure smooth classroom operations

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Infant or childcare experience preferred

  • CDA or early childhood coursework a plus, not required

  • Understanding of infant development and developmentally appropriate practices

  • CPR and First Aid preferred or willingness to obtain

  • Reliable, patient, and team-oriented
