Pay: $16–$18 per hour

The Learning Experience is seeking a caring and dependable Infant Assistant Teacher to support our infant classroom. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with babies and contributing to a warm, nurturing, and structured early learning environment.
Our infant program focuses on responsive care, consistent routines, and developmentally appropriate experiences that support infants’ social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Lead Infant Teacher in maintaining a safe, calm, and nurturing classroom
- Assist with daily infant care routines including feeding, diapering, naps, tummy time, and transitions
- Engage infants in sensory play, music, and early language experiences
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
- Observe infants and share updates with the teaching team
- Communicate positively with families regarding daily routines and activities
- Follow all health, safety, and state childcare licensing requirements
- Collaborate with teachers and leadership to ensure smooth classroom operations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Infant or childcare experience preferred
- CDA or early childhood coursework a plus, not required
- Understanding of infant development and developmentally appropriate practices
- CPR and First Aid preferred or willingness to obtain
- Reliable, patient, and team-oriented
