Scope of work Â
As a Medical Assistant with Corewell Health, you'll be a member of our clinical support team and work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of the best possible care. You'll be a vital part of our team, making a real difference in the lives of our patients.
- Required High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred Associate's Degree
- Successful completion of a competency based orientation program Required
- 5 years of relevant experience Experience working in a physician practice or healthcare setting Required
- Experience working as a medical assistant, paramedic, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Registered Nurse (RN) Required
- Experience using EPIC Required
- Experience as an EPIC SuperUser Preferred
- Experience in Kaizen Culture/Standard Work Preferred
- CRT-Medical Assistant, Certified (CMA) - AAMA American Association of Medical Assistants Upon Hire required Or
- CRT-Medical Assistant, Certified (CCMA) - NHA National Health Career Association Upon Hire required Or
- CRT-Medical Assistant, Certified (NCMA) - NCCT National Center for Competency Testing Upon Hire required Or
- CRT-Medical Assistant, Certified (NRCMA) - NAHP National Association for Health Professionals Upon Hire required Or
- CRT-Medical Assistant, Registered (RMA) - AMT American Medical Technologists Upon Hire required Or
- LIC-Paramedic License - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required Or
- LIC-License Practical Nursing (LPN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required Or
- LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days required Or
