Job Description:
- Performs set up and processing of plastic injection molding equipment
- Timely and accurate installation and removal of injection molds, following quality/safety procedures
- Performs all processing of injection molding machines per process sheet specifications
- Ensure all process are documented
- Ensure all production start-up and first piece approvals
- Communicate in an effective and timely manner any equipment issues/breakdowns to maintenance
- Communicate in an effective and timely manner any tooling issues to the Shift Supervisor and the team Process Engineer
- Exhibit safety awareness and safe work practices
- Set up and adjust assembly equipment, auxiliary equipment, and robots
- Troubleshoot molding defects such as flash and short shots
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities
- Other tasks and duties as assigned.
