Job Description For: BLENDING UTILITY

Division/Department: Blending

Location: Grandview, WA

Type of Position: Full-Time
Hours: 40+/week: Hourly

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Blending utility personnel will, under the direction of the Blending Technician, perform a variety of general tasks related to food processing. These tasks may include, but are not limited to, labelling finished product, manifesting seals, lining drums, building totes, packaging product in drums/totes/pails, cleaning drums and general clean-up. Will be required to cross train as a filler operator, fork lift driver and operate the CIP system.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Positive, team oriented attitude.
A willingness to do whatever the company needs including, but not limited to:
Preparation of packaging materials.
Packaging of product in drums/totes/pails.
General cleanup or maintenance of the facility.
Washing and moving drums.
Labeling packed product and manifesting seals.
Ability to work safely around equipment
Follow company policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned.

WORK EXPERIENCE & PERSONAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Forklift certification is required.
Understanding of GMP policies and food safety.
Good math, reading, writing, analytical, and verbal skills
Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs.
Ability to speak, read, and write in English
Basic computer skills

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma and/or equivalent preferred.
