GENERAL DESCRIPTION Â
Blending utility personnel will, under the direction of the Blending Technician, perform a variety of general tasks related to food processing. These tasks may include, but are not limited to, labelling finished product, manifesting seals, lining drums, building totes, packaging product in drums/totes/pails, cleaning drums and general clean-up. Will be required to cross train as a filler operator, fork lift driver and operate the CIP system.Â
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Â
- Positive, team oriented attitude.
- A willingness to do whatever the company needs including, but not limited to:
- Preparation of packaging materials.
- Packaging of product in drums/totes/pails.
- General cleanup or maintenance of the facility.
- Washing and moving drums.
- Labeling packed product and manifesting seals.
- Ability to work safely around equipment
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned.
WORK EXPERIENCE & PERSONAL SKILL REQUIREMENTSÂ
- Forklift certification is required.
- Understanding of GMP policies and food safety.
- Good math, reading, writing, analytical, and verbal skills
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs.
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English
- Basic computer skills
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Â
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent preferred.
