At Shop Goodwill, every item processed and every cart filled helps fund programs that empower people to build better futures. As a ShopGoodwill Expediter, you play a direct role in turning donated goods into opportunity — helping ensure valuable items make it online quickly so they can generate the revenue that powers our mission.


Hours are Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm


What you will do: 

  • Quickly evaluate the value of donated merchandise coming in from stores, and fast-track high-potential items into carts ready for our E-Commerce Technicians to list for sale online. 
  •  Identify and expedite items provided from stores that need to be posted on ShopGoodwill.
  •  Provide a sufficient number of carts in rotation for E-Commerce Technicians.
  •  Maintain an inventory of gaylords coming in from stores and sort using a first in, first out system.
  •  Meet assigned production goals following ShopGoodwill posting standards.
  •  Maintain the designated ShopGoodwill storage area in a clean and organized manner.
  •  Effectively communicate issues and concerns to your supervisor.
  •  Comply with Goodwill attendance and punctuality standards.
  •  Follow Goodwill safety practices.
  • Basic Computer skills.
  •  Effectively communicate the mission of Goodwill to customers and donors.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS/BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:

        High School Graduate or Equivalent. 

        Basic computer skills.          

PHYSICAL/EMOTIONAL DEMANDS:

  1. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, taste or smell and operate computer.
  2. The employee must often lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  3. Specific vision abilities required by the job include distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
