Truck Driver, Full-time

Description

BASIC FUNCTION: To operate a manual transmission truck for Goodwill, making pickups of donated material and

scheduled deliveries and pick-ups of merchandise.

Hourly Wage: $23.00

JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES:

1. Must have a CDL-A license. Must have a good past driving record so that insurance company will accept insurability.
2. Knowledge of the Greater Grand Rapids area is desirable.
3. Must be able to pass a DOT physical, drug screen and background check. Must be physically able to safely and properly handle heavy items such as desks, sofas, etc.
4. Must be licensed to operate a manual transmission.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS/BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• CDL License required, ability to drive a manual transmission truck.   
• High school education preferred. Must be able to read and write. 
• Previous experience pulling a semi-trailer up to 53 feet in length preferred.
