Job Description
Responsible for supporting accurate and timely accounting in accordance with U.S. GAAP, with a focus on the month-end accounting cycle and operational reporting.Â
Terminal Accounting & Revenue Support Â
Support terminal revenue accounting and revenue accruals Â
Reconcile general ledger activity to operational reporting systems Â
Research billing discrepancies and accounting questions Â
Operational Reporting Â
Prepare tonnage, throughput, royalty, KPI, and operational reports Â
Compile and distribute financial and operational reporting information Â
Support terminal-related payment requests and AP coordination Â
Maintain audit-ready documentation and support audits Â
Support process improvement initiativesÂ
Perform special projects as assignedÂ
Assist in budget preparation as neededÂ
Support ad hoc requests from operations and finance departmentsÂ

Qualifications
Basic understanding of accounting principles, financial records, and U.S. GAAP concepts Â
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and consistencyÂ
Analytical mindset with the ability to identify questions, follow logic, and research discrepanciesÂ
Strong Excel skills and comfort working with financial or operational dataÂ
Organized and able to manage recurring deadlines and competing prioritiesÂ
Clear written and verbal communication skillsÂ
Dependable, adaptable, and willing to learn new systems, processes, and business operationsÂ
Exercises good judgment and maintains confidentiality when working with financial informationÂ

Pay Range: $55,000 to $65,000
