What You'll Do
As a Dietary Cashier, you'll help create a welcoming dining experience while supporting the daily operations of our hospital cafeteria.
Your responsibilities will include:
Accurately operating the cash register and processing cash, credit card, and electronic payments
Greeting customers with professionalism, courtesy, and a friendly attitude
Assisting customers with meal selections and answering questions about menu items
ď¸ Serving food and beverages while maintaining attractive and well-stocked serving areas
Restocking beverages, snacks, condiments, and cafeteria supplies throughout the day
Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitized cashier station and dining area
Working collaboratively with cooks and dietary staff to provide exceptional customer service
ď¸ Following food safety, sanitation, and infection prevention standards
What We're Looking For
â High School Diploma or GED preferred
â Previous cashier, retail, restaurant, food service, or customer service experience preferred
â Food Handler Certification required within 7 days of hire
â Strong communication and customer service skills
â Basic math and cash-handling experience
â Dependable, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
â Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
