Industrial Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift

Requirements


Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical equipment and systems.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on motors, electrical panels, circuits, and related equipment.
  • Diagnose electrical faults using multimeters, insulation testers, thermal imaging equipment, and other diagnostic tools.
  • Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes, company policies, and safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain PLC systems and industrial automation equipment.
  • Install, program, modify, and support PLC-controlled machinery.
  • Interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, technical drawings, and equipment manuals.
  • Work closely with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability and system performance.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and increase operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, repairs, preventive maintenance, and equipment history.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience performing industrial electrical maintenance in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, wiring practices, and electrical safety procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, manuals, and wiring diagrams.
  • Experience using electrical testing equipment, including multimeters, insulation resistance testers, and thermal imaging cameras.
  • Demonstrated experience working with PLC systems
  • Strong understanding of industrial automation and control systems.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Diploma, technical certification, or associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Automation, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Knowledge of energy efficiency initiatives and electrical optimization practices.
  • Experience with variable frequency drives (VFDs), HMIs, servo systems, and industrial networking is a plus.
