We are seeking an experienced and motivated Patient Service Supervisor to join our Laboratory team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled phlebotomy professional with strong organizational and leadership abilities who enjoys supporting both patients and team members.
As Patient Service Supervisor, you will play an important role in ensuring a positive patient experience while overseeing the daily operations of our patient service team and specimen processing activities.

Pay Range: $20.41–$30.61 per hour
Final compensation is based on factors including education, experience, certifications, and relevant skills. Compensation will be discussed with Human Resources based on the candidate's qualifications.
What You'll Do
In this leadership role, you will provide oversight of:

Patient service staff and daily workflow

Patient service and external customer satisfaction

Specimen collection and processing operations
-
Scheduling and staffing needs
-
Inventory management and supply availability
-
Department processes that support efficient, high-quality patient care
-
Team performance, communication, and adherence to established procedures
You will serve as an important connection between the patient service team and the broader Laboratory department, helping ensure that patients receive professional, compassionate service and that laboratory operations run smoothly.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for a dependable, organized professional who combines strong phlebotomy experience with excellent communication and leadership skills.
Education
Required:
-
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
-
Associate degree in Applied Sciences or a related field
Certifications
Required:
-
Successful completion of an accredited phlebotomy program
-
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Preferred:
-
Certification in venipuncture through the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent accrediting agency
Experience
Required:
-
Minimum of three (3) years of phlebotomy experience demonstrating the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the position

Prior scheduling and inventory management experience
Preferred:
-
Two (2) years of experience working in a hospital environment

Previous supervisory or leadership experience
