Role Overview:Ā 

As a Crop ApplicatorĀ II,Ā you’llĀ be responsible forĀ the safe, legal, and efficient application of plant protection and fertilizer products to a variety of crops. This hands-on role includes operating specialized equipment,Ā maintainingĀ accurateĀ records, and ensuring all products are handled with precision and care.Ā Ā

A Sample of WhatĀ You’llĀ Do inĀ this Role:Ā 

  • Safely and accurately apply pesticides and fertilizers to customer fields using various application equipment.Ā 

  • Calculate and calibrate spray rates (e.g., gallons per acre, acres per tank).Ā 

  • Process work orders and complete all necessary documentationĀ includingĀ application records, daily reports,Ā andĀ shipping papers.Ā 

  • Perform daily equipment inspectionsĀ andĀ conduct basic maintenance and repairs as needed.Ā 

  • AccuratelyĀ locateĀ application sites.Ā 

  • Maintain clean and functional application equipment; coordinate usage and return of all tools and machinery.Ā 

  • Ensure proper handling and storage of chemicals in the facility.Ā

What You Bring toĀ the Role:Ā 

  • 1+ years of experience, at least 18 years oldĀ 

  • PesticideĀ applicator licenseĀ 

  • Knowledge of calibration techniques and equipment operationĀ 

  • Willingness to work long hours and varied shifts during peak season up to 6-7 days/week, 10-14 hours/dayĀ 

  • Ability toĀ liftĀ 50 lbs.Ā Ā 

  • Willingness toĀ participateĀ in drug and alcohol testing and routine medical examsĀ 

  • High school diploma or GEDĀ
