Impact Electronic Solutions - Grants Pass Location (ESAM) - Position Description

Summary of Position:

Under supervision of the production supervisor of the housing department and using your Assembly Instructions (AI) insert correct wire into the correct pin location of the housing or connector.

Duties:

1. Audit housing kits for wires, housing parts, etc.
2. Give status of kit shortages to lead or supervisor.
3. Read instruction sheets
4. Locate correct pin positions.
5. Measure one wire from each bundle to check length.
6. Insert correct wires into correct pin position on the housing.
7. Fill out traveler paperwork.
8. Make suggestions on improving the processes.
9. Inspect other operators work as necessary.
10. Perform special assignments and duties as required.

Requirements:

1. Able to distinguish colors.
2. Able to read small print.
3. Able to read a ruler.
4. Have excellent manual dexterity.
5. Sit for eight (8) or more hours per day.
6. Able to lift and carry 25 lbs. on a repeated basis.
7. Able to work overtime and weekends.
8. Have the ability to work with arms at shoulder level for extended periods of time.

Schedule:

• Monday- Friday 5:00am-1:30pm
• OT is required, as needed. OT Hours: Mon-Thursday 2 hours immediately before/following shift, and Sat.
