The Mitchell Recreation & Athletic Center is seeking enthusiastic students to control access, assist with set-up/takedown of events, maintain clean facilities, and provide accurate information to all Denison Recreation users and participants.
Essential Function:
ā Control access to facilities by ensuring valid membership and/or access pass.
ā Welcome users and provide information regarding facilities, programs, services, and the local area.
ā Assist with equipment set up, oversight, and take down of events or open recreation.
ā Administer lost and found system.
ā Respond to emergency situations and adhere to protocols including pre and post-incident procedures.
ā Promote and maintain a high standard of cleanliness and appearance of all facilities.
ā Understand and enforce Denison Recreation and area-specific policies and guidelines.
ā Knowledge and implementation of the emergency action plan.
ā Attend required trainings and meetings.
ā Develop professional relationships with co-workers, participants and guests.
ā Uphold and exceed the expectations of Denison Recreation: ethical reasoning, critical thinking, teamwork, initiative and professionalism.
ā Assist as needed in all required departmental functions.

Qualifications & Certifications
ā First Aid and Adult CPR/AED certifications should be current or obtained before start date
ā Preventing Disease Transmission/Bloodborne Pathogens Training
