Housekeeper (Part-Time | 12 Hours Per Week)

Join our team at Mountainview Commons , a welcoming senior apartment community in Granville, New York, providing 41 quality apartment homes for seniors.

We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents. This position is 12 hours per week, typically scheduled during weekday business hours.

What You'll Do

• Follow established cleaning schedules.

• Clean common areas including hallways, community rooms, offices, and restrooms.

• Vacuum, dust, mop floors, empty trash, and disinfect high-touch surfaces.

• Clean and prepare vacant apartments for new resident move-ins.

• Clean and deodorize bathrooms and replenish supplies as needed.

• Maintain adequate inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed.

• Complete work orders and inspections in accordance with company policies and procedures.

• Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

• Communicate maintenance concerns and housekeeping issues to management promptly.

• Participate in required meetings and training programs.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• One to two years of housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred.

• Knowledge of cleaning equipment, products, and safety procedures.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Basic computer or tablet proficiency.

• Valid driver's license preferred.
