Avondale Mercedes-Benz's Grapevine technicians are the lifeline of our business, and we are honored to say that we provide them with unrivaled facilities to work in. Technicians will benefit from massive parts departments, vehicles that are parked and remain under Inclement Weather Tent Structures, and support from a variety of leaders in our departments. We gladly pay for the ongoing training and advancement of our technicians and reward them financially and with excellent benefits. They will also have the opportunity to work on some of the most intriguing brands and vehicles in the world while having the following responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

Must be able to drive and operate vehicleExamines vehicle, diagnoses and, if needed discusses with the Shop Foreman, or ASM as to the nature and extent of damage or malfunctionCommunicates additional service requests to the ASM for communication to clientPlans work procedure in cooperation with the Shop ForemanProvides labor time estimates to the ASMMonitors repair time and updates ASM on status often for client vehicles left for service, and for waiting clientsMaintains strict adherence to dealership policy on client vehicle care and operationCompletes story, or documentation for client repairsKnows and understands dealership computer systemAssists Technician TraineesWears approved safety glasses when in designated safety areasKeeps work area clean and tidy Attends company and factory trainingKeeps current with factory technical bulletinsUnderstands and follows Federal, State and local regulations such as disposal of hazardous wastesKnows and understands the Client Concern Resolution (CCR) process, and utilize the program to achieve client satisfactionKnows and understands the Park Place Privacy and Information Security Policy, and adhere to its requirementsAttends weekly department meetings

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); and minimum one year dealershipexperience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Operator's Driver's License; State Inspection License.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
