Summary Job responsibilities ensure the strategic material planning processes are in place to enable operation and production continuity.  Takes a coordinating lead, working closely with internal and external parties to ensure supply of materials is in pace to satisfy production requirements. Position requires efficient, effective, and flexible solutions to meet production requirements.  Role holds staff and budgetary supervisory responsibilities for divisional structure. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other Duties not listed may be assigned. Data Analysis/Communication/Issue Resolution – Prevention - % of Job – 90% Oversee implemention aftermarket plan for end unit and spares sales. Monitor production returns and quality issues. Handle demand while driving supply plan and the implementing shipment releases for aftermarket demand. Coordinate with sourcing organization to ensure strategy plan support. Determine shortfalls and strategize to overcome them. Implement transition programs into planning system with engineering organization. Oversee allocation of materials per business needs with repair. Report and present to senior management and stakeholders trends and actionable decisions.  Interface with customers to understand needs and plan workflow. Summarize analytical data and generate reports.  Extend support to improve quality control, testing and documentation development and convert technology. Complete other duties as assigned. Warehouse Efficiencies – Cost Reduction - % of Job 5%                                                                                                                     Implements warehouse efficiencies and cost reduction programs to assist the company in making better merchandise flow decisions by conducting thorough analysis on key areas that cause product or delivery issues. Builds and maintains a work environment that is positive and is supported by open feedback and two-way communication at all levels. Requires 5+ years direct supervision/management experience. Essential Skills:  Needs ability to work with and analyze large amounts of data. Needs ability to establish positive working relationships with internal customers. Must be willing to give direction and to work independently. Must have clear success in the delivery, supply, and materials management solutions with demonstrated results.  Requires end-to-end supply chain knowledge.  Must have demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional, team oriented environment. Requires demonstrated use of ERP and forecasting systems.  Requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills.    Needs ability to interpret data to create information; can apply knowledge of inventory models.  Requires superior oral, presentational, and written communication skills in a multi-cultural environment.  Must be proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint).  Job requires the ability to clearly organize and categorize work priorities to complete work.  Critical analysis and complex problem solving skills are needed.
