Site Location: Cartersville, GA
Position Summary
The Field Service Engineer provides on-site support for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of wet process equipment used in semiconductors, solar, or related manufacturing environments. This role works directly with customer operations, engineering teams, and equipment suppliers to ensure maximum tool uptime and performance. Korean language proficiency is essential to support communication with Korean-speaking customer personnel and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair customer production equipment.
- Diagnose equipment issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Support equipment startups, commissioning, and process optimization efforts.
- Work closely with customer operators, engineers, and management to resolve technical issues.
- Communicate effectively with Korean- and English-speaking stakeholders.
- Complete service reports, maintenance records, and technical documentation.
- Follow all customer and company safety procedures.
- Support occasional on-call and after-hours service requirements.
- Travel up to 40% to other client locations as needed.

Education & Experience
· Associate degree or technical training in engineering, electronics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
· Entry-level and experienced candidates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with 5+ years of relevant experience are preferred.
· Relevant experience in machinery, technology, or electronics preferred.
· Ability to troubleshoot and maintain pneumatic, plumbing, and bearings is required with the ability to troubleshoot electrical components preferred, but not required
· Basic computer skills, including data analysis and MS Office applications.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work around manufacturing equipment for extended periods.
- Ability to work in industrial and cleanroom environments as required.
Working Conditions
· Standard work hours: Monday–Friday, 8–10 hours/day; additional hours as needed.
· Travel up to 40%, including possible international training.
· Ability to lift up to 75 lbs ; frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching.
· Work primarily conducted at customer sites; compliance with site safety rules required.
· Valid driver’s license and passport (or ability to obtain) required.

Typically, Monday through Friday

Estimated Pay Range
Hourly rate: $32 – $38, based on experience
