Ozarks Community Hospital (OCH), located in Gravette, Arkansas, has an opening for an Admissions Clerk within our Patient Access Department.

Our Mission: Ozarks Community Hospital and clinics are dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare and preventive services to all patients in an atmosphere of compassion, respect, and dignity, with a commitment to care for the underserved and to improve access to care.

The Admissions Clerk Arranges for the efficient and orderly admission of inpatients and admission of individuals who have hospital-based outpatient testing or procedures. Ensures that the patient information is collected and that patients are aware of hospital policies and procedures. Interviews incoming patient or representatives and enters information required for admission into computer database. Distributes appropriate information to ancillary departments. Participates in performance improvement and CQI activities. Operates a multi line phone and does all paging for hospital. Responsible for cashier duties within the hospital for patients and employees. Performs other duties as assigned or directed.

Requirements:
