SUMMARY

QA Lab Techs evaluate film quality at various stages of manufacture and are responsible for testing final product for compliance to customer specifications.  


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Responsible for researching jobs in IQS for production.

•    Responsible for testing samples according to the frequency chart for compliance to customer specification.

•    Entering data into the IQS system.

•    Responsible for all lab requests.

•    Communicates with QA assistant for out of spec product.

•    Creates COA’s and sends to customer.

•    Communicates with Production as needed.

•    Generates NCM’s in timely manner and place on roll in the hold area.

•    Responsible for updating all NCM’s.

•    Responsible for releasing all rolls not on hold when the job is completed.

•    Responsible for setting up jobs.

•    Responsible for cleaning up after your shift.

•    Responsible for completing current days work by the end of your shift, no rollover work.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 

Minimum of 6 months on the job training.
