Description

Duties:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local, state, and national electrical codes
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems
Install and maintain wiring, control systems, and lighting fixtures
Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, to identify hazards or defects
Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes
Troubleshoot malfunctions in electrical systems and equipment using testing devices and hand tools
Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
