HELPER

POSITION SUMMARY

The Helper is responsible for cleaning inside buildings and maintaining the outside ground maintenance at the facilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain grounds maintenance around the facilities by weedeating, killing weeds with chemicals and picking up trash
• Clean and disinfect designated building areas which includes dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents and restroom cleaning
• Perform and document routine inspections and maintenance activities
• Perform heavy cleansing tasks and special projects as needed
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
• Make adjustments and/or minor repairs
• Stock and maintain supply room inventories
• Cooperate with other department staff
• Obey and follow all safety rules and policies
• Wear all appropriate safety equipment (PPE)
• Perform all other duties as assigned by manager and/or supervisor

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS 

• High School diploma or equivalent education
• Basic written and verbal communication skills
• Must have the ability to perform work accurately
• Must be reliable and have good time management skills
• For new hires, must meet all Performance Energy Services employment qualifications in force at time of hiring, including successful completion of a background investigation and pre-employment drug screen
• For new hires, must successfully complete all required training by Performance Energy Services
