Home Care Coordinator - Full Time

This is a Full Time position with a primary schedule of 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday

Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation, located in New Hyde Park, NY, is seeking a highly motivated Home Care Coordinator, knowledgeable to join our Certified Home Health Agency department.

The Home Care Coordinator is responsible for a variety of tasks under the general guidance of the Administrators, including but not limited to scheduling, management of client care,communication with clients and staff, staff supervision and general office duties.

Required Qualifications

Associate's degree or certification in healthcare administration or related field required
Care Coordinator and/or scheduling experience in healthcare field preferred
Experience in home care / home health: 2 years preferred
Experience is administrative support roles, preferable in a healthcare setting
Must be proficient in MS Office, including Excel and Word, as well as electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
