Our Lake Success office is seeking a full-time, on-site administrative assistant/receptionist for a fast-paced, diverse law firm. 

Job Summary

·         The administrative assistant/receptionist will serve as support to the firm by performing various administrative tasks. 

General Responsibilities:

·         Answering phones, forwarding calls, and taking messages
·         Opening and distributing daily mail
·         Scanning
·         Typing letters
·         Opening and closing case files
·         Greet clients, opposing counsel, and visitors with warmth and professionalism
·         Setting up virtual and in-person conference room meetings
·         Maintaining a clean office, conference rooms, and restocking supplies as needed
·         Assist with various administrative tasks

Job Qualifications

·         Minimum 2+ years in a professional office environment (legal experience is a plus).
·         Clear and effective communication skills, including the ability to work independently and problem solve 
·         Planning/Organizing – Prioritizes and plans work activities with an emphasis on time management and efficacy 
·         Interpersonal Skills – Qualified candidate must demonstrate effective listening skills, maintain confidential information
·         Professionalism – Treats others with respect and consideration; maintains composure and reacts well under pressure; Follows through on commitments

Required Skills

·         Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe
