SAIC is seeking a Network Engineer to support our government customer.
This position is at United States Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, NY, we are looking for a Network Engineer who can thrive in a challenging and rewarding environment at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy Headquarters in Kings Point, New York.
- The candidate will help design, implement, troubleshoot, analyze and maintain Academy networks Configures, tests, and maintains LAN/WAN/DMZ/Wireless networks and related services
Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves network problems - Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks, applications and appliances
- Ideal candidate has experience in government environment utilizing NIST and FISMA
- Performs day-to-day activities required to manage data services, such as network design, implementation, and management, to include troubleshooting of complex network issues
- Provides daily supervision and direction to support staff, to include technical and administrative direction
