We are currently hiring Recreation Aides to assist in facilitating recreational activities for patients, encouraging social interaction, and promoting physical and mental well-being.

As a Recreation Aide, you will play a vital role in helping patients participate in various leisure activities and programs. Your enthusiasm and ability to create a supportive and enjoyable environment will greatly enhance the rehabilitation experience for our patients.

Hourly Rate: $20

Pay Period: Sunday to Saturday

Pay Schedule: Weekly, Every Thursday via Direct Deposit

Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning and implementing recreational programs and activities for individuals and groups.
  • Encourage patient participation in activities that promote socialization, physical activity, and mental engagement.
  • Provide support and supervision during activities to ensure safety and enjoyment.
  • Maintain records of activities and patient participation, reporting any concerns to the appropriate staff.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all patients.
  • Work collaboratively with nursing and therapeutic staff to tailor activities to meet the needs of patients.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in a recreational role or in a healthcare environment is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate individuals with varying needs and abilities.
  • Understanding of the importance of recreational therapy in patient recovery.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Creativity and enthusiasm for working with people, especially in a healthcare setting.
