AG Mechanic

JOB REQUIREMENTS and RESPONSIBLITIES

GENERAL

• Applicants must work well within a crew environment        
• Coordinate repair/maintenance tasks and functions
• Travel with overtime will be necessary
• Work in all weather conditions
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Applicants must be capable of repair and caring for pile ground equipment, with necessary support
• Knowledge of cutting, fabrication, and welding skills
• CDL Class A with Tanker and Hazmat certification or willing to obtain the certification/licensing
• Mechanical skills, including, but not limited to:
  • Understanding of preventive maintenance
  • Hydraulic repair skills/knowledge/experience
  • Heavy equipment mechanics
  • Machine shop/ tool knowledge.
  • Knowledge of 480-volt electrical systems
  • Heavy equipment mechanics
  • Power transmission (gearboxes, belts, chains, etc.)
  • Pumping systems

EDUCATION

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Classification within the position (Trainee, C, B, or A) will be dependent on SKATE.
