Position Summary

As the Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for managing 4Rivers Equipment’s biggest asset; its equipment inventory. You will help 4Rivers Equipment succeed by having the right equipment with the right specs at the right store at the right cost at the right time.  This position may work out of our Dahlia Support office in Commerce City, Colorado, or the Greeley Support office in Greeley, Colorado.

Essential Duties

  • Coordinate ordering of machines.
  • Manage inventory fleet.
  • Maintain inventory records such as acquisition cost, depreciated book value and sales price.
  • Meet financial targets including inventory value, inventory turn and gross margin.
  • Maintain equipment listing portion of web site.
  • Evaluate and value trade-ins.
  • Coordinate 4Rivers Equipment’s participation in auctions.
  • Network with others in the industry.

 

Education and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent, two-year degree preferred
  • Basic financial knowledge
  • Extensive knowledge of construction equipment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Business casual dress
