The responsibilities would include, but are not limited to the following: Maintain production and facilities equipment, performing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic trouble shooting as needed Monitor, replace and repair process pumps, valves and pipe fittings Perform unscheduled repairs and adjustments on production equipment to minimize down time and insure maximum efficiencies Perform regular scheduled preventative maintenance on production equipment and facilities Effectively communicate with operators and team leaders regarding equipment problems and down time. Respond to department production equipment issues in a timely manner Read and understand equipment manuals, basic schematics, and work requests to perform require maintenance and service Perform various basic carpentry and plumbing tasks Perform metal fabrication and welding tasks Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, material handling equipment and lifts to perform duties Follow all equipment Lockout/Tag out procedures Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all established safety rules and report any unsafe conditions Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to be on foot. This position is very active and requires standing (50%) and walking (50%) throughout the day. Push/pull 150+ pounds Lift/carry up to 50 pounds regularly Carry supplies across facility Work in awkward spaces (ex. under machinery or climb ladders/stairs) Â Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time, non-exempt position working Monday-Thursday 2 p.m. - 10 p.m. OR Tuesday-Friday 1 p.m. - 9 p.m. Â Benefits: Base pay starts at $27/hour.
