Job DetailsJob Location: 1740 COFRIN DR - GREEN BAY, WI 54302Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 SalaryJOB SUMMARY: The primary duty of this position is to design and create database structures suitable for quickly and efficiently storing and retrieving relevant data for company projects.  ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: As an SQL developer, you will be expected to develop fast and performant database queries, in addition to performing database maintenance tasks and ensuring an even load distribution as required. Your duties will include following the best database architecture, design and development practices, staying up to date with all relevant data security procedures and complying with all applicable data protection legislation. Below are additional duties and responsibilities: Write fast and performant database queries using MSSQL  Develop, optimize, and implement stored procedures  Use database analytical tools to analyze performance  Ensure SQL queries follow modern security practices  Ensure SQL databases meet the requirements of the end applications Ensure SQL database designs follow standard data normalization Ensure SQL queries are effectively being executed using up the least number of resources Assist in testing SQL databases and ensuring they’re operating as expected  Refine and automate regular processes, track issues and document changes  Evaluate business data and recommend appropriate analytic approaches/strategies to achieve stated objectives  Effectively prioritize and manage concurrent projects, demonstrate initiative, and work independently with minimal supervision  Apply data modeling techniques to ensure integration and performance expectations are met and allow for future flexibility to meet changing business needs REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/ABILITIES:  Our ideal SQL Developer will possess a combination of the following education, skills and abilities:  Bachelor’s degree 3+ years direct experience as an SQL Developer Advanced knowledge of database procedures and Microsoft SQL Server concepts  The ability to create fast and efficient database queries, including joining and cross-referencing from several tables  Demonstrated knowledge of large, relational databases and data structures.  Strong quantitative skills, attention to detail, and a high aptitude for problem solving. Strong critical thinking skills Able to work as a team player with Application Developers, Database administrators and operational personnel. WORK ENVIRONMENT: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, etc. This is a full-time position. Days and hours or work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, occasional overtime required.
