Job overview:  

Schneider is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor in Green Bay WI to review accounting, financial and operating controls to identify control weaknesses. The Senior Internal Auditor will discuss the weaknesses they find with leadership teams and provide recommendations of how to remediate the risks. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Design and develop audit programs to identify control weaknesses and create action plans. 
  • Document audit procedures. 
  • Identify and test key controls and provide recommendations for improvements. 
  • Review audit work papers for accuracy. 
  • Summarize post-audit reports. 
  • Participate in discussions of findings and recommendations with leadership teams. 


Skills and qualifications:    

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or economics.   
  • Four to six years of audit experience preferred.   
  • CPA or CIA certified.   
  • Experience in public accounting preferred.   
  • Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley preferred.   
  • Able to understand and map end-to-end processes.
