Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven, wanting to work with patients in an inpatient setting helping them regain or improve the skills necessary for daily living and working after illness, injury, or surgery.

• Department: Inpatient/Acute Care
• Core Function: Rehab/Therapy/Sleep
• Schedule: PRN - one weekend a month, one holiday a year and looking for some availability during the week as well.

Education Qualifications

  • Graduate (e.g., bachelors, master, or doctorate) from an accredited program which meets the licensure requirements in the state of practice is required.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

  • IL: State Licensure as an Occupational Therapist is required OR has been authorized to practice by the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation (IDFPR) and must obtain licensure within 6 months.
  • WI: State Licensure as an Occupational Therapist is required OR has been issued a temporary licensure to practice and must obtain licensure within 6 months.
  • Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) or completion in the first 90 days of employment is required.
