Job overview:

Schneider is seeking a Security Specialist in Green Bay to answer incoming phone calls from company truck drivers with security-related questions and requests. The Security Specialist will also operate gates and monitor entrances at Schneider facilities across the country.

Responsibilities:

Answer incoming phone calls promptly and direct callers to the appropriate department or associate.
Maintain courteous communication with internal associates and company drivers.
Oversee the accurate inventory of equipment.
Control gate access across Schneider locations.
Analyze and react to gate video surveillance.
Handle and resolve security alarms promptly.
Guide associates on adhering to security policies and procedures.
Handle confidential business information with the utmost discretion to ensure confidentiality is maintained.

Skills and qualifications:

Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
1+ years of previous customer service, business or related experience.
Previous security, loss prevention or criminal justice training is a plus.
Experience with Microsoft Office programs.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Able to review and monitor video monitors for extended periods of time.
