Description

 A CNC Operator, sets up and operates cutting machinery to build tools and parts of various boat. Their duties include studying blueprints and creating the design, cutting material and manipulating it to build the project, and performing regular maintenance on their machinery.

Requirements

 Some requirements but not limited to the below

  • Proven experience as a CNC machinist or programmer, with proficiency in CAD/CAM software.
  • Strong understanding of machining processes, boat materials, and quality control principles.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
  • Keen attention to detail and a commitment to achieving high-quality outcomes.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy material - in a loud environment 
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues during the machining process.
  • Programming, setup and operation of CNC
  • Track programming & machine run time needed to complete assigned tooling projects.
  • Communicates with tooling supervisor to ensure tooling requirements, dimensions, and accuracy is achieved for each project.
