General Description of Position:
Laying in and rolling of chop/mat, biaxial, woven and foam into decks, hulls and liners. Apply sheets of fiberglass and liquid resin to mold of boat and smooth out with brushes and rollers.
Duties (Essential):
- Reports to work on time for designated shift.
- Adheres to company safety policies and procedures.
- Sprays fiberglass and/or lays sheets of fiberglass on part mold.
- Cuts and trims material to fit part using scissors and knife.
- Uses resin gun to wet out part.
- Air rolls part using air roller to remove air bubbles from part.
- Maintains wet out system, cleans tools, and disposes of chemicals in proper areas.
- Responsible for clean and orderly workstation.
- Move parts from station to station.
Duties (Non-Essential):Â Performs related duties as assigned.
Education & Work Experience: Minimum education level required, however GED or equivalent preferred. Previous lamination experience preferred. Must be able to read and understand instructions.
Environmental Conditions:Â Must wear personal protective equipment, including gloves, apron, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, safety glasses and a respirator. Plant environment varies with outside temperature and noise levels vary in different production areas.

Skills & Aptitudes:
Language skills - Able to understand spoken instructions with regard to job training and safety concerns and the ability to speak conversational English.
Reasoning skills - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed finishing of all products. Ability to deal with changes related to equipment use and productivity.
Travel: No travel required in this position.
