General Description of Position:
Set liner in hull; stringer lamination; place, center and rig press, then torque press to set liner in hull. Prepare molds after maintenance and then buff and wax molds.
Duties (Essential):
- Set liners in hulls, apply glue and reset liner and press.Â
- Center press, rig and torque onto hull.
- Wax and buff mold and prepare for taping.
- Reports to work on time for designated shift.
- Adheres to company safety policies and procedures.
- Apply wax coating on entire mold to insure easier separation from gel coat finish layer
- Apply masking tape to edge of in a consistent and productive manner.
- Drill holes for introduction of foam.
- Patch and fill holes provided for foam access.
- Remove excess glue/adhesive from liner and press in place.
- Safely operate lift and press.
- Grip and provide pulling force to ratchet press to appropriate standard force level.
- Read numerical value on molds to identify each model type.

Duties (Non-Essential):Â Perform related duties as assigned.
Education & Work Experience: Must be able to use hand tools, including drill, grinder, and buffer.
Environmental and Working Conditions:Â Moderate lifting (up to 50 lbs.), with or without accommodation. Normal duties include reaching, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching. Will be required to wear personal protective equipment. Talking, hearing and normal vision required.

Skills & Aptitudes:
Language skills - Able to understand spoken instructions with regard to job training and safety concerns and the ability to speak conversational English.
Reasoning skills - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed finishing of all products. Ability to deal with changes related to equipment use and productivity.
