JOB DESCRIPTION

The Assembler position is responsible for the final stage of the manufacturing process, assembling custom industrial products and ensuring they meet APX's high standards for quality and craftsmanship. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the flexibility to work on a variety of projects. Assemblers play a critical role in delivering finished products that exceed customer expectations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform final assembly of custom products, including installation of gaskets, nuts, bolts, locks, brackets, and other components.
  • Package finished goods in boxes or on skids and prepare products for shipment.
  • Mark, tag, and identify components for inventory control and customer requirements.
  • Assist in training and sharing assembly techniques with team members as needed.
  • Operate hand and power tools including belt sanders, drills, rivet nut guns, grinders, saws, and other fabrication equipment.
  • Inspect completed products to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and balancing throughout the workday.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use hand and power tools.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
  • Reliable attendance and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position.
  • Previous manufacturing, assembly, or fabrication experience is preferred
