JOB SUMMARY
The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation and delivery of materials, equipment, and supplies to construction sites, manufacturing locations, and other designated locations. This position regularly operates company vehicles, loads and unloads materials, and ensures deliveries are completed accurately and safely.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The responsibilities outlined below represent the primary duties of this position. Responsibilities are performed in accordance with company procedures, applicable standards, and job requirements, with the level of supervision and support appropriate to the employee’s experience and level of training.
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver materials, equipment, and supplies to construction sites, manufacturing facilities, and other designated locations.
- Load, secure, transport, and unload bundles of pipe, sheet metal, ductwork, HVAC components, and other construction-related materials using safe material-handling practices.
- Follow all applicable DOT requirements, traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures.
- Perform required vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Ensure loads are properly secured and delivery routes are planned for safe and efficient transportation.
- Maintain assigned vehicles in a clean, organized, and safe condition and maintain required DOT documentation.
- Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, supervisors, and construction personnel.
- Wear company-provided PPE and follow all required safety practices while performing deliveries and working at job sites; perform other duties as assigned.

- Valid driver’s license required.
- Valid DOT medical card required, or ability to successfully complete the required DOT physical and obtain medical certification.Â

PHYSICAL DEMANDSÂ
The physical requirements described below are representative of the physical abilities necessary to perform the essential functions of the position.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, climb, kneel, and use hands to operate vehicles and handle materials and equipment. The employee must be able to safely navigate uneven surfaces and construction sites, and lift, carry, push, pull, load, and unload materials weighing up to 75 pounds, including pipe, sheet metal, ductwork, HVAC components, and other construction materials, some of which may have sharp edges or surfaces.
The employee must be able to perform required duties in varying indoor and outdoor weather conditions and meet applicable DOT physical requirements, including maintaining a valid DOT medical card.

The work environment described below is representative of the conditions an employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of the position.
- Work is primarily performed while operating company vehicles and at construction sites, manufacturing locations, warehouses, and other delivery locations.
- Employees may be exposed to varying indoor and outdoor temperatures, rain, heat, cold, wind, dust, construction debris, and other conditions commonly associated with construction and delivery environments.
- Work may occur around active construction activities, vehicles, heavy materials, tools, equipment, loading areas, and varying noise levels. Employees may handle and work around pipe, sheet metal, ductwork, HVAC components, and other construction materials during loading and unloading activities.
- Employees are expected to follow all applicable safety procedures and wear required company-provided PPE, including safety vests, hard hats, and other PPE as applicable.
