JOB DESCRIPTION
APX is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented MIG Welder for 2nd shift to support our fabrication shop operations. This role is responsible for welding and assembling metal components based on specifications and production needs. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, consistent in quality, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions to execute welding tasks accurately.
Perform MIG welding, primarily on mild steel, aluminum, and stainless-steel sheet metal components.
Utilize grinders to smooth welds and remove excess material or spatter, ensuring precision and quality.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 2 years of experience in MIG welding.
Strong ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, calipers, tape measures, and angle gauges.
Capable of working independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving manufacturing setting.
