Join our Team as an Accountant – National Accounts!
The Role:
We’re seeking a driven and detail-oriented Accountant – National Accounts to support accounting, inventory, and financial reporting activities for our National Accounts subsidiary, based in Greene, New York. In this role, you will play a critical part in month-end close execution, inventory accounting, and financial analysis while partnering cross-functionally to support business objectives. This position offers meaningful exposure, hands-on development, and opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Own and execute month-end closing activities, including preparation of standard and non-standard journal entries, inventory, sales, and revenue reports, and general ledger accuracy.
- Lead inventory accounting processes, including standard costing, transaction analysis, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Support physical inventory counts and cycle counting programs to ensure inventory integrity.
- Prepare, analyze, and communicate financial data and reports to support management decision-making.
- Partner with internal teams and external dealers/companies to resolve billing, invoicing, receiving, and statement discrepancies.
- Develop, improve, and maintain standard work documentation, leveraging Toyota Production System (TPS) concepts to improve efficiency and reduce defects.
- Provide problem-solving support for non-standard accounting and inventory issues.
- Support audits, ad-hoc analyses, and special projects as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Strong listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
- Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability, and dependability in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and computer skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across functions.
What Sets You Apart:
- Previous accounting/finance experience.
- Microsoft Excel proficiency.
- Prior experience using SAP or comparable ERP systems.
- CPA, CMA or CFA.

- Enjoy the best of both worlds with a hybrid schedule—collaborate in person at our Greene, NY office 3 days a week and work remotely upon completion of training, 2 days a week.
What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like:
Salary – $62,353 - $73,395 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
