Valley Medical Group is looking for a Mammography Technologist to join our team and work in our Greenfield Health Center. If you are looking for a dynamic environment, this is your opportunity!
Position: Mammography Technologist
Location: Greenfield, MA
Hours: 32 hours, 7:30am - 4:00pm; (4) eight-hour shifts (Monday-Friday). Hours may vary depending on department needs. Exact schedule to be discussed at time of interview.
The Mammography Technologist will operate mammography equipment according to DPH, ACR, and MQSA requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for performing departmental workflow tasks
- Participates in shared mammography tracking responsibilities such as; patient follow-up and callbacks.
- Performs required mammography QC procedures in accordance with MQSA and ACR
- Occasional travel to other VMG Centers
Qualifications:
- Completion of accredited course in Radiologic Technology; approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Completion of all prerequisite and ongoing core MQSA requirements for certification
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography and Mammography [R.T.(R)(M)]
- Current State of Massachusetts licenses in Radiography and Mammography
- Proof of current required CEUs
- Computer skills applicable to the healthcare setting
- Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and procedures
- Minimum 3 years of experience performing screening and diagnostic mammograms preferred
- Must be able to work independently
