Be the first Operations & Marketing Coordinator at Weed-It USA — a foundational, hands-on role with a clear path to Operations Manager as we grow across North America.

Weed-It USA is the North American headquarters for Rometron, a global leader in precision spot-spraying technology. Our machine-vision systems help farmers reduce herbicide use, lower production costs, and farm more sustainably.

We're looking for an organized, versatile person to help run daily operations, coordinate marketing, and keep our office and warehouse moving. You'll join a small team at an early, pivotal stage and help shape how the company runs. This full-time role is built to grow, over time, into an Operations Manager role.

Your time will split roughly 50/50 between operations and marketing/administration — one half shipping, receiving, and inventory; the other half marketing, communications, office administration, and basic finance. No two days will look the same.

What you'll do

Operations & office administration

  • Support day-to-day operations alongside the General Manager
  • Manage calls, mail, office supplies, and vendor relationships
  • Schedule meetings, travel, and appointments; maintain company files
  • Assist with HR administration (BambooHR)

Marketing & communications

  • Maintain and update the company website (WordPress with Elementor)
  • Manage our Google Business Profile and social media presence
  • Coordinate email marketing, promotional materials, trade shows, and dealer events
  • Work with our global marketing team to localize materials for the U.S. market

Shipping, receiving & inventory

  • Receive, inspect, pick, pack, and ship customer and dealer orders
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and support cycle counts
  • Organize the warehouse; coordinate shipments with UPS, FedEx, and freight carriers

Finance & administrative support

  • Prepare invoices and purchase orders; assist with AP/AR and expense records
  • Support bookkeeping (Xero or similar)

What we're looking for

You enjoy wearing multiple hats and taking ownership. You don't need experience in every area — we value initiative, organization, and a willingness to learn.

Required

  • 2+ years in office administration, operations, logistics, or marketing coordination
  • Excellent organization, communication, and attention to detail
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities independently
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 and quick to learn new software
  • Able to lift and move packages up to ~40 lbs

Preferred

  • Shipping/receiving, inventory, or small-business experience
  • Website maintenance (WordPress/Elementor a plus), social media, and Google Business Profile management
  • Familiarity with CRM, ERP, or bookkeeping software
  • Trade show or customer-event coordination
  • Agricultural or agricultural-equipment experience (a plus, not required)

Why join

  • A foundational role with a real path to Operations Manager
  • Get in on the ground floor, with the influence that comes with being one of the first hires
  • Direct work with company leadership and exposure to every part of the business
  • Full-time, Monday–Friday; $28–32/hour (about $58,000–$66,500/year)
  • Full benefits from day one: medical, dental, vision, retirement, and paid vacation and holidays
  • A collaborative, entrepreneurial environment where your ideas shape how we grow

Success in your first six months

You've taken ownership of shipping and inventory, brought order to the office, and kept our marketing calendar on track — and you're a trusted owner of the day-to-day operations and marketing that keep Weed-It USA running.

Primarily office- and warehouse-based in Wellington, Colorado. Occasional travel to trade shows or customer demonstrations may be required.

Join Weed-It USA and help shape the future of precision agriculture in North America.
