Job Summary

This position supports the operation of the Packaging Department with labor planning/training and production resourcing.


Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Plan weekly and daily staffing schedules, including planned time off and training hours
  • Assist in completion of performance reviews
  • Plan daily and weekly schedules for cleaning 
  • Keep weekly inventories and order department materials/supplies 
  • Maintain distribution of documents related to production 
  • Assist with GMP/Sanitation audits and inspections and follow up with corrective actions
  • Review of department documentation for accuracy/completion 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate Degree or above in manufacturing related field preferred. Will consider combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Experience with unionized work environment preferred. 
  • Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.  
  • Strong background in people skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 
  • Selected candidate will be assigned a primary shift, but must have flexibility for working hours, including weekends when necessary to cover the needs of the business.
