Shift Supervisor

The Key Program is currently seeking a Shift Supervisor for our two Greenfield Residential Group Homes. One program serves 9 clients from 8-15 years old, and the other program serves 9 youth ages 12-17 years old. The schedule will include a variety of nights, weekends, and holidays. Wage: Competitive hourly wage: $25.25   

Additional compensation is provided for bilingual skills and our generous employee referral bonus program.

  Qualifications:   

  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred, preferably in a human service-related field.
  • 1-3 years' residential program care experience is required.
  • Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license and legally registered and insured vehicle for work use.

 And

  • Must be 21 years of age or older. 
  • Valid state driver’s license and legally registered and insured vehicle for work use. 
  • Comprehensive background check.
  • Commitment to participate in required trainings and certifications in FA/CPR/AED, MA Medication Administration Program (MAP) and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Crisis Intervention. 

Responsibilities: 

The Shift Supervisor provides on-site management assistance during their shift in the areas of program administration, client and family services, and staff training: 

  • Program administration – coordinate program services, activities, and schedules. 
  • Personnel administration - ensuring adherence to agency and program policies. 
  • Assist the clinical and supervisory team with case management responsibilities with our children/ youth and families.
  • Lead shift and coordinate daily program activities and assign responsibilities to case worker staff. 
  • Help to ensure clients receive quality services that comply with standards and regulations. 
  • Develop positive working relationships with funding sources and all other collaterals. 
  • Promote family-centered and strength-based philosophies within the program. 
  • Staff training and development- assist case workers in their assessment and treatment of clients. 
  • Ensures adherence to safety procedures. 
  • Provide crisis intervention and behavioral management in accordance with Key policy.
  • Coordinate and assist in conducting client intakes during nights and weekends. 
  • Ensure appropriate youth to staff ratio coverage and provide direct support coverage if necessary.
  • Monitor and implement safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Respond to behavioral health and programmatic issues and triage with clinical and administrative staff.
  • Participate in the regional on-call system.
