We're currently seeking a Staff Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our collaborative care team—someone who’s passionate about helping others and committed to clinical excellence.

Position Summary

As a Physical Therapy Assistant at Adena, you'll play a key role in delivering direct care to a diverse patient population. Working closely under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you’ll help implement individualized treatment plans that address orthopedic, neurologic, developmental, and cognitive challenges.


Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care based on the Physical Therapist’s plan of care
Assist patients in achieving mobility, strength, and functional goals through therapeutic interventions
Monitor and report patient progress, challenges, and response to treatment
Maintain timely, accurate documentation and support regulatory compliance
Collaborate with the care team to ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes
Uphold professionalism, safety, and ethical standards in every interaction


Qualifications

Required Education: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Required Licensure & Certifications:
Current Ohio PTA License or eligibility to obtain
CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) certification
Valid Ohio Driver’s License and proof of insurance
Preferred Experience: 1–2 years of experience in direct patient care (consideration given to new grads with strong clinical skills)
Background in orthopedic, neurologic, developmental, or cognitive rehabilitation is a plus.
